Two Powerball tickets sold this week in New York won $1 million prizes in recent drawings.
One second-prize ticket was purchased at South Gate Deli in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, for Monday’s drawing. The other was sold at Horizon Pharmacy in Elmhurst, Queens, for Wednesday’s drawing, according to New York Lottery officials. Both tickets matched all five white-ball numbers in their respective drawings.
Wednesday’s jackpot was worth an estimated $103 million with a cash value of $46.8 million, however no one won the top prize, according to lottery officials.
