See which NY communities got buried in the most snow

Since lake effect snow started falling earlier this week – western New York transformed into a wintry wonderland.

As the National Weather Service in Buffalo predicted, several lakeside communities saw more than a half-foot of snow in a 24-hour span during the state’s first widespread snowfall.
