New York Class A first round – Tappan Zee (1) 69, Highland (9) 23: At Mahopac. Tappan Zee scored the game’s first 38 points. Adrianna D’Orio scored 20 points, Emma McHugh 12, Alyssa Sanchez 10 and Abby Walsh seven for TZ (20-4). For Highland (13-11), Kailani Angiolillo had eight points, Alexis Violaris five and Ciara Teamer and Logan VanZandt four apiece.
New York Class C first round – Greenwich (2) 64, S.S. Seward (9) 34: Greenwich raced out to a 23-3 lead after one quarter and 35-8 halftime lead. Jordan Wolfe hit a trio of 3-pointers in the first quarter and finished with 18 points, Brooke Kuzmich had 16 and Bailee Wolfe 13. For Seward, Kayla Valenti had 13 points, Lauren Scheuermann nine and Chloe Williams six.
New York Class AA first round – Nyack (1) 53, Warwick (9) 46: At Yorktown. Warwick (17-5) trimmed a 12-point deficit to two in the final minute but got no closer. McKenzie Decker scored 12 points; Reese Girardi had 11 points and three assists; Kelsy Larney had 10 points; and, Sofia Mazza had seven points. For Nyack (23-1), Casey Cummings had 21 points and four rebounds; Elisse Aikens had 12 points and six boards; Rakiya Mohammed had seven points and eight rebounds; and, MaddyPeskie had three points and 11 boards.

Section 9-AAA final – No. 1 Newburgh 53, No. 2 Our Lady of Lourdes 49: At Monroe-Woodbury. T.T. Burden scored 20 points and Kallie McCoy and Saraji Good each had 11 for Newburgh (15-7). For Lourdes, Aaliyah Pegram had 15 and Bianka Velovik 14.
Section 9-AA final – No. 1 Cornwall 44, No. 2 Warwick 41 (2 OT): At Monroe-Woodbury. Tessa Furst had 22 points and Ana Sonko scored 12 points and had seven blocks for Cornwall (19-2). For Warwick (17-5) Mackenzie Decker had 17. Both teams advance to state play.

For Pine Bush, Isabella Santiago had 11, My’a Watson and Gianna Price 10 apiece and Jayla Breland six.
Section 9-AA quarterfinal – at No. 4 Valley Central 45, No. 5 Washingtonville 34: Audrey Maher and Giselle Johnson each had 17 points for Valley Central. Rae Leonard and Ally Rivera had strong defensive efforts. For Washingtonville, Carly Graham had 12 points and Nicolette Mammoliti 10.

Julia Price (six steals) scored 17 points, Aoife Brady (five steals) 11, Gabby Gualtiere (six rebounds) 10 and Mia Domingues and Beatrice Hunter six apiece for Wallkill (1-1). For Burke (0-2), Kate Cuebas had 10, Grace Madigan eight and Moonandre Hippolyte six. Price and Hippolyte earned all-tourney honors.
26th Corinne Feller Memorial tournament championship – Middletown 54, at Valley Central 31: Tourney MVP Jayden Ferguson scored 12 points and all-tourney pick Analie Alvarez also had 12 for Middletown. For VC, Giselle Johnson and Bella Rivera each had eight points – they both made the all-tourney team.
Walton tournament finals – Sullivan West 39, Franklin 19: Skye Cruz, Marissa Yanetta and Roz Passante each had six points for Sullivan West. For Franklin, Naydine Gilson had five and Daniella DeSilva four.
Rumble in the Valley consolation – New Paltz 54, Fallsburg 30: At Ellenville. Heather Culp scored 15 points, Callie Meyer (10 rebounds, 5 steals) had 13 and Mia Lutz 10 for New Paltz. For Fallsburg, Alajah Chambers and Marilyn Santos each had six.

For Wallkill, Emma Randolph scored nine, Gabby Gualtiere eight and Aoife Brady six. In Friday’s finals, Middletown will take on Valley Central in the 7 p.m. championship. Wallkill to play Burke in the 5:30 p.m. consolation.

at Walton 51, Sullivan West 27: Ella Herbert scored 15 points, Meghan Kelly five and Roz Passante four for Sullivan West. For Walton, Grace Walley scored 21 and Ava Merwin and Kennedy Williams eight apiece. Walton used an 11-3 third quarter to pull away.
