The driver killed in a crash involving an SUV and tractor-trailer in Clarkson has been identified as 77-year-old Vincent Mazza of Rochester, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Mazza was the sole occupant of the SUV and died from his injuries at a hospital following the crash.
Crash under investigation
The crash happened Sunday at the intersection of Route 104 and Monroe Orleans County Line Road in the town of Clarkson.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the SUV failed to yield the right of way to a tractor-trailer.
The tractor-trailer driver was not injured and cooperated with the investigation.
