Drivers in Steuben and Livingston counties will soon have to navigate two overnight road closures on the Interstate 390 for bridge maintenance, according to the New York state Department of Transportation.
The closings will impact sections of the I-390 in the Livingston County town of Dansville and the town of Wayland in Steuben County.
Place and timing for I-390 overnight road closures
Travelers should anticipate delays during this time and are advised to seek alternate routes if necessary, DOT said. Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
