DoorDash released a list of the 100 top-rated local doughnut shops in the country — and one New York bakery made the cut.
The inaugural list was based on customer reviews collected over a one-year period ending in April 2026. To qualify, shops had to be independently owned or part of a small regional chain with fewer than 10 locations and receive at least 1,000 customer reviews. The rankings include businesses from 25 states.
“Donut shops are true neighborhood institutions that people return to week after week,” Ruth Isenstadt, DoorDash’s head of U.S. restaurants, said in a news release. “National Donut Day is a chance to celebrate the local shops that turn ordinary mornings into something special.”
National Doughnut Day falls on Friday, June 5.
