Rochester Museum and Science Center is offering free admission from noon to 5 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month at its facilities.
STEM activities during the Amazon Free Afternoons include live demonstrations, “Electricity Theater” and hands-on activities at the museum; star and laser shows at Strasenburgh Planetarium; and nature hikes and outdoor explorations at Cumming Nature Center.
No tickets are necessary. People should check in at the welcome desk.
The remaining 2026 dates are Aug. 5, Sept. 2, Oct. 7, Nov. 4 and Dec. 2. In 2027, the museum lists the dates as Jan. 6, Feb. 3, March 3, April 7, May 5, June 2 and July 7.
Amazon and the Community Foundation are sponsoring the afternoons.
