“There’s a possibility of showers and thunderstorms across our entire region,” Sera said.

The chance for rain looks to be around 30% in the early morning, with that chance increasing to 45% by the afternoon.

Temperatures are expected to be around the mid-70s early in the morning, around 8 a.m. By late morning, temperatures begin to increase slowly until the late afternoon, reaching a high of around 85 degrees.

Humidity is forecasted to be around 67%.

Sera suggested that people follow the usual guidelines for warm temperatures, especially if they’re going to be outdoors and running.

That includes drinking plenty of water and being on the lookout for any symptoms of heat stroke.

The most common heat-related illnesses are heat stroke (sun stroke), heat exhaustion, heat cramps, and heat rash. Learn more about heat-related illness, including signs and symptoms and when to take action on the State Health Department’s extreme heat advice webpage.
