New York Giants resume training camp in East Rutherford

The New York Giants will hold their first practice of the week Monday at the renovated Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford, marking their return home after two weeks of training camp at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

The temporary move west was driven by ongoing facility upgrades and lingering infrastructure work around MetLife Stadium following the FIFA World Cup. The team wrapped up its West Virginia stay with a final practice Saturday before traveling back to New Jersey.

Head coach John Harbaugh’s group is scheduled to conduct four practice sessions this week, Monday through Thursday. Each workout is expected to last approximately two-and-a-half hours as the Giants continue installing their schemes and evaluating roster battles under the new coaching staff.

Players will have Friday off to rest and prepare before hosting the Minnesota Vikings in the preseason opener Saturday afternoon at MetLife Stadium. The exhibition marks the first opportunity for fans to see the revamped roster in game action.

The shift back to familiar surroundings comes after a demanding stretch of 10 practices in 11 days on the road.

Harbaugh has emphasized the value of the focused environment at The Greenbrier, where the team was able to build chemistry with fewer outside distractions. Now at home, the Giants will fine-tune ahead of the preseason slate while continuing to assess depth and competition across the roster.
