The New York Giants have livened up the fan base by signing John Harbaugh to become the 21st head coach in franchise history.
They’ve also raised performance expectations along with that. Last season, the Giants’ over/under on wins was 5.5 before the season. Most, including the staff of this website, believed they would easily eclipse that after revamping their quarterback room.

Instead, it was more of the same — injuries, confusion, and lack of discipline — that led to another dismal season, and they finished 4-13.
This season, with Harbaugh at the wheel and quarterback Jaxson Dart no longer a rookie and wide receiver Malik Nabers and running back gback Cam Skattebo returning from injury, has an opening over/under regular season win total of 8.5.
The Giants have lost 10 or more games in 10 of the last 12 seasons and have only eclipsed the nine-win threshold twice over that period.
