Collin Patrick led the team with three goals and an assist in the victory. Drew Anderson, Peter Murray and Sean Mullan each added two goals apiece. Richie Metzger finished with 12 saves in net.

Winning the conference tournament for the first time since 2023, Marist earned an automatic birth in the NCAA Tournament and a chance to continue playing on home turf one last time. On Wednesday, May 6, the Red Foxes will host CAA champion Stony Brook in an opening round clash of New York State schools. The contest is set for a 7 p.m. start.

The two schools have met once previously this season, with Stony Brook taking a 14-11 victory on April 4.

The winner will earn the opportunity to go down to Princeton to take on the No. 1 overall seed Tigers in the first round this upcoming weekend. Set to be played on Sunday, May 10, the first round is slated for a 2:30 p.m. start.
