Kayvon Thibodeaux applauds Giants' signing of JuJu Smith-Schuster

New York Giants star Kayvon Thibodeaux expressed satisfaction with the team’s decision to sign JuJu Smith-Schuster in free agency.

Thibodeaux offered a public vote of confidence in Smith-Schuster on Monday, shortly after the Giants reached an agreement with the veteran wide receiver.

Smith-Schuster established himself as a prolific receiver after entering the league in 2017. He recorded 1,416 receiving yards in 2018 following a 917-yard rookie campaign the previous year.

While he has primarily served as a complementary receiver in recent seasons, Smith-Schuster thrived in that role with the Kansas City Chiefs in three of the last four years, including a Super Bowl victory with the team following the 2022 season.

Thibodeaux holds a 1-1 record against Smith-Schuster in regular-season matchups over the course of his career. The two will now join forces as teammates in 2026.

Smith-Schuster is expected to provide Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart with another target in the passing game as he competes for a spot on the 53-man roster.
