How to keep cool during extreme heat in Binghamton: Free BC Transit, cooling stations

The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning for June 23 until 8 p.m. and several days of the week will be under a heat advisory.

With a heat index expected to exceed 100 degrees, Broome County Transit will be offering free rides to help residents escape the hot weather until June 25.
