Honor America Days in Rome kicks off July 26, and the city is excited.
A longstanding tradition in the Rome community, Honor America Days Parade starts at 10 a.m. on July 26, starting on the corner of West Chestnut Street and North James Street. The parade continues down James Street before going down West Embargo, hanging a left turn past the VFW onto North George Street, and ends outside Rome City Hall.
This year’s theme is “There’s No Place Like Rome — in the 80s.”
At 8 p.m., the Symphoria Symphony Orchestra Pops Concert will perform, followed by a fireworks display.
