Funeral services have been announced for a Delaware County firefighter who died in the line of duty on July 17.
East Branch Fire Department Assistant Chief Jason McGlone, 51, was electrocuted and died while responding to a crash in the Town of Hancock.

Town of Hancock Supervisor Jerry Vernold has ordered all flags on town buildings and facilities be flown at half-staff until July 26 to honor McGlone’s memory and his 25 years of service.
Memorial visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on July 26 in the East Branch Fire Hall, according to McGlone’s obituary.
After the memorial visitation, funeral and firematic services will begin in the fire hall. A respite will follow at the Hancock Fire Hall in Hancock.
According to the obituary, memorial contributions for McGlone can be sent to the East Branch Fire Department or to Wreaths Across America in Columbia Falls, Maine.
