Check out the nominees in lohud Flag Football Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital, and cast your vote. The athletes’ credentials are listed above the fan poll, which will be open until 3 p.m. Wednesday. The winner will be announced on lohud sports social media on Wednesday.

Let’s meet the candidates.
Lia Buerkle, Putnam Valley
The sophomore quarterback was 11 for 16 for 193 yards with two touchdowns over the last week. She threw for two extra points and ran for 25 yards in a win over Hudson River.
Sydney Goodman, Horace Greeley
The sophomore returned a punt for 65 yards for a touchdown against Westlake. She also totaled 14 total flag pulls against Westlake and New Rochelle.
Nina Vasquez, Tappan Zee
The senior, over three games, had 19 receptions for 223 yards and five touchdowns. She also totaled 41 rushing yards and 14 flag pulls on defense.
Olivia Wiegand, Somers
The senior, over three games, had three interceptions, 12 flag pulls, four catches and one extra point.
