The New York Jets have plenty of reasons for optimism moving forward, even if that means beyond the 2026 NFL season.
ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky agrees with that sentiment.
Speaking on the network, Orlovsky liked what he saw on the Jets’ current roster… but he loved what awaits the team.
New York general manager Darren Mougey has a treasure chest of supplies to work with again next offseason. Orlovsky can’t wait to see what Mougey and the Jets do with it.
“If we just fast forward to this time next year, the Jets will be sitting on $150 million dollars in cap space and three first round picks,” Orlovsky said. “That’s a really enticing place for a young quarterback to go to.”
