A driver died after an SUV and tractor-trailer collided at an intersection in Monroe County, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened at the intersection of Route 104 and Monroe-Orleans County Line Road in the town of Clarkson.
SUV failed to yield, sheriff’s office says
According to investigators, the SUV failed to yield the right of way to a tractor-trailer.
The SUV driver was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The tractor-trailer driver was not reported injured.
The identities of those involved were not immediately released.
