Doughnuts, artisan toast spots announced for Ridge Hill in Yonkers

Mini doughnuts and lots of artisan toasts are coming to Ridge Hill in Yonkers later this year with the additions of Doughnuttery and the all-day brunch café Toastique.

What is Doughnuttery?

Founded in 2012, the NYC-based brand specializes in hot miniature doughnuts made using proprietary sugar blends and high quality, local and exotic ingredients. Known for its unique flavor combinations, specialty dipping sauces, and innovative cooking methods, the brand has locations across the U.S. and South America, with multiple spots in NYC.

This, however, is their first standalone New York franchise location and is operated by Westchester locals and longtime friends Ian Silva and Jonel Gonzalez. The 500-square-foot space will be located next to L.A. Fitness.

A second Toastique is opening in Westchester

Toastique, which first burst onto the Westchester market with its 2024 opening in New Rochelle, will now have a second spot under the same father/son franchise ownership of Michael and James Simone. This one will be a 1,200-square food space next to the Archer Avenue garage entrance.

This mark’s the brand’s fourth New York location since being founded in 2018 in Washington, D.C.

The focus here, as the name implies is on artfully crafted toasts along with açaí and smoothie bowls, cold-pressed juices, hand-crafted coffee, wellness shots, and grab-and-go items.

According to Adam Schwegman, head of retail leasing at Jamestown, the company behind the outdoor mall, these new additions represent “the kind of merchandising mix we’re focused on curating at Ridge Hill.”

“Together, they broaden our offerings and provide more opportunities for our guests to share a bite while experiencing all the property has to offer.”
