Call this number for free New Year's Eve taxi rides in Binghamton area

New Year’s celebrations and plans are approaching, and one of the biggest decisions is transportation. Don’t risk drinking and driving this holiday after bringing in 2026 at the bar or a party.

Injury attorney Thomas E. Schimmerling will be offering a 26th year of free taxis in the Binghamton area as part of the Safe Night Program on New Year’s Eve. The Safe Night initiative is described as “an effort to keep our community safe and ensure that party goers make it home responsibly,” according to an announcement.

From 12 a.m. to 4 a.m., party-goers will be able to claim a single-use ride home simply by calling 607-779-1000.

Local bars and restaurants have informational flyers hanging up to keep the public informed about transportation options.

Schimmerling Injury Law has offices located in Binghamton, Endicott, Owego and Delhi, handling legal cases like vehicle accidents, personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and elder abuse.
