Buffalo Bills sign linebacker during 2026 OTAs

The Buffalo Bills have added depth to their linebacker room with veteran Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles.

Flannigan-Fowles has signed a one-year deal in Buffalo as the team takes on the second week of their 2026 OTAs this offseason in Orchard Park. In a corresponding move, wide receiver Max Tomczak, a UDFA rookie signing this spring, was released:

Flannigan-Fowles spent last season with the New York Giants, appearing in 10 games.

Flannigan-Fowles has been a special teams contributor during his 73 career games. However, he has made 10 starts on defense including three with the Giants last season.

Flannigan-Fowles spent the first five years of his career with the San Francisco 49ers after signing with the team in 2019 as an undrafted rookie. In his career, Flannigan-Fowles has two sacks, nine tackles for loss, and an interception.
