Former Iowa center Logan Jones won’t have to buy ketchup for the rest of his life.
The Chicago Bears selected Jones in the second round of the NFL draft on Friday. Because he was the 57th pick, Jones gets a lifetime supply of ketchup from Kraft Heinz, according to ESPN’s Courtney Cronin.
Kraft Heinz’s headquarters is in Pittsburgh, which is hosting the NFL draft this week. The company is celebrating its 157th year of operation this year.
Heinz is teaming up with NFL legend and former 57th Draft pick, Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears, to officially welcome Jones as the inaugural “Mr. 57.” Jones will receive a custom “Mr. 57” jacket in addition to his lifetime supply of Heinz ketchup.
