As Iowa women’s basketball enters its lengthy offseason grind, all eyes will be on Hawkeyes signee McKenna Woliczko, as she competes among the nation’s top high school seniors in the 2026 McDonald’s All-American Game on Tuesday, March 31, from Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Ariz.
The 6-foot-2 forward from San Bruno, Calif., propelled Archbishop Mitty to a 28-3 record and an appearance in the CIF Open Division State Final.

In her senior season with the Monarchs, Woliczko averaged 20.2 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals per game on 68.9% shooting, 40% from 3-point range, and 80.8% from the free-throw line.

Heading into her freshman season at Iowa this coming fall, Woliczko is the Hawkeyes’ highest-ranked signee since Caitlin Clark in 2020, checking in as a five-star signee, as the No. 6 player in the nation, as the No. 2 forward, and as the No. 2 player from California, per 247Sports. Woliczko is also Jan Jensen’s highest-rated signee during her two-year tenure as the Hawkeyes’ head coach.
