AMES – Iowa State women’s basketball began the season with a historic start, tying a program record with 14-straight wins. But the 13th-ranked Cyclones (14-2 overall, 2-2 in Big 12 Conference) have since followed that up with back-to-back losses.
They will try to avoid a third-straight loss when they host West Virginia (13-3, 3-1) Sunday at Hilton Coliseum. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Cyclones are coming off a 71-63 upset loss at Cincinnati on Wednesday. Audi Crooks scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the loss.
