IOWA CITY — Iowa football closed its 2025 regular season with a resounding 40-16 win over Nebraska.

Quarterback Mark Gronowski rushed for two touchdowns and threw for one. Running back Kamari Moulton got into the end zone twice. The Hawkeyes got two of their 40 points thanks to a safety, which was generated via a forced fumble on punt coverage by Karson Sharar.
With the win in Lincoln, Iowa finished the 2025 regular season 8-4 overall, including 6-3 in the Big Ten.
The Hawkeyes’ four losses came by a combined 15 points. All were vs. ranked opponents. The Hawkeyes enjoyed some blowout victories in Big Ten trophy games, demolishing Wisconsin, Minnesota and Nebraska by a combined 118-19.
Iowa now awaits its bowl-game fate. Bowl matchups will be announced on Sunday, Dec. 7.
