Three-star running back Savion Miller has transferred from Iowa City Regina to Iowa City High for his senior Iowa high school football season, he confirmed to the Press-Citizen on Jan. 15.
Miller rushed for 1,068 yards and 16 touchdowns on 127 carries as a junior in 2025. He also caught 16 passes for 338 yards and nine touchdowns.

“This decision has taken a lot of time, reflection, and honest conversations with myself and my family,” Miller said on social media. “After thinking it through, I’ve decided to transfer to City High School for my senior year. Regina High School will always be home — grateful for the battles, brotherhood, and memories that built me.”
Miller spent three seasons with the Regals, becoming their starting running back in his sophomore season. The 5-foot-10 star helped Regina (12-1) reach the Class 1A state championship game as a junior. He will join a City High team that finished 2-7 last season.
Miller holds offers from the University of Miami, Minnesota, Missouri, Kent State and Toledo.
