Brad Sherman would respect our founding principles as governor
Iowans deserve a principled leader. A true Christian conservative running for governor is Brad Sherman.
Sherman is deeply grounded in the Constitution and America’s founding principles, including the Great Awakening that shaped such leaders as Benjamin Franklin. He has lived the American tradition Alexis de Tocqueville praised — freedom as the best safeguard of opportunity and peaceful enjoyment of our blessings. A longtime Iowa resident, Brad has been active at the Republican grassroots, endorsed President Donald Trump, and is a friend of Mike Huckabee. He has raised his children and grandchildren in these values.
Sherman stood against the satanic display at the Capitol and against eminent domain abuse when others did not. He defends the sanctity of life and rejects politics as usual. Unlike candidates from the bureaucracy, or crowned by the swamp, Brad has built real relationships across Iowa.
“Restoring the Foundations of Freedom” is not a slogan for Brad — it’s a 40-year philosophy. He will restore educational standards so our children learn the value of liberty instead of socialism, work for clean environment, support small businesses and family farms, and keep Iowa a place where generations can thrive.
Brad Sherman has my vote for governor. I hope he earns yours.

Zach Wahls is the change candidate for Senate
Young, knowledgeable, effective communicators who have bucked the party establishment in Iowa that’s what this moment demands, and that’s why I’m supporting Zach Wahls for U.S. Senate, Sarah Trone Garriott for Congress, and Rob Sand for governor. They are the change candidates on Iowa’s 2026 ballot.
I watched Wahls and Josh Turek at a debate, and again at a forum hosted by several neighborhood Democratic groups, where each answered the same questions with the same time limits, one in the room while the other waited outside.
Wahls’ answers were richer. More detail, more experience, more evidence that he’s actually a student of policy. He has receipts on Republican candidate Ashley Hinson from serving alongside her in the Iowa Legislature. He really wants to beat her. It’s personal.
Turek sounded like Sen. Chuck Schumer. After half the time in office Wahls has had, he already sounded more like a politician.
A lot of Democrats are hung up on the fact that Turek won in a “red” district. But Wahls has won in rural areas, too: his first Iowa Senate district included rural Cedar and Muscatine counties. Don’t reduce him to “an Iowa City liberal.” Iowa City is one of only two areas of our state with a growing population, and where we all go for specialty healthcare.
Democrats have spent years trying to read the conservative electorate and losing. Vote for the candidate who has actually fought for Iowans for eight years.

Ashley WolfTornabane brings positivity to politics
I am tired of the chaos and negativity dominating our politics. It hasn’t led to effective governance. Only frustration for the people being served.
With the primaries just weeks away, this is the moment to take a serious look at the candidates in both parties and choose a better path forward. Recent months have shown a lack of meaningful progress, and it’s clear we need new leadership.
In Iowa’s 4th District, Ashley WolfTornabane, a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, offers a refreshing alternative. Running a true grassroots campaign, she has spent countless hours meeting with voters across the district, listening and engaging directly.
Ashley brings energy, honesty, and a positive vision, qualities too often missing in today’s political climate. I believe she will remain grounded and focused on representing Iowans, not becoming another Washington insider.
If you’re looking for a change, I would encourage you to learn more about Ashley WolfTornabane and consider supporting her in the primary and again in November.

Stephanie Steiner would bring a nurse’s insight to Washington
Stephanie Steiner is the best candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in the June 2 Democratic primary for the 4th District.
Steiner lives on an acreage with her husband, Mark, and family. Steiner raises goats. She is the mother of seven and a grandmother. She is for family farms and will support farmers in Washington, D.C. She is for universal healthcare and protection for rural hospitals. She is a nurse, having worked as a U.S. travel nurse and seeing medical needs in many locations.
She believes in the power of the people with a strong House of Representatives that listens to its constituents. She is a dedicated person and will be a great representative for us. I am a nurse, and I want a nurse in Washington to help with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and stop the measles outbreak!

Dave Dawson can take his work to help families to Congress
Dave Dawson is a hard-working leader ready to represent Iowa’s 4th Congressional District. He has the energy, the intellect, and the compassion to be a remarkable voice in Congress.
Dawson is an accomplished attorney who has spent nearly two decades protecting families as a prosecutor. He has argued and won cases before the Iowa Supreme Court to safeguard children’s rights. As a former Iowa state representative, he was known for working across the aisle to achieve results. Having grown up in a small town, Dawson knows the struggles of rural Iowa and the importance of strengthening family farms and supporting rural communities.
He will fight to lower prescription drug costs and expand rural healthcare access. He’ll work to keep rural hospitals and nursing homes open, advocate for more benefits for Veterans, and ensure mental health services are available close to home. Dave will push for policies that raise wages, support working families, and crack down on corporate monopolies that hurt farmers and small business owners.
Please join me in supporting Dave Dawson in the June 2 primary. Let’s put him on the ballot in November and send him to Washington to represent Iowa’s 4th Congressional District.
