It’s a burrito bonanza.
Pancheros will be handing out 1,000 codes across the University of Iowa campus on Tuesday, Aug. 26, that can be redeemed for $1 burritos. The company will start distributing flyers at 10:30 a.m.
The restaurant is also partnering with UI Dance Marathon to distribute flyers and swag, and will be donating $1 to the organization for each redeemed burrito code. The flyers will contain a unique code that can be redeemed through the Pancheros app. Codes will remain active through Monday, Sept. 1.
Pancheros was founded in Iowa City in 1992 and has expanded across the Midwest and to the East Coast.
University of Iowa students returned to class for the fall semester on Monday, Aug. 25.
Pancheros regularly hands out discount burritos coniciding with the class schedule.
