Iowa State football’s Sept. 27 home game against Arizona (3-0) is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. CT at Jack Trice Stadium.
The game is scheduled to feature a “White Out” theme and will be televised on ESPN. The kickoff time and TV network were announced on Monday, Sept. 15.
The Cyclones (4-0, 1-0 Big 12 Conference) have a bye this week, after escaping Jonesboro, Arkansas, with a 24-16 win over Arkansas State, which capped off a challenging four-game slate that included rivalry matchups with rivals Iowa and a neutral-site game in Ireland against Kansas State. They also dispatched FCS power South Dakota during this stretch.
Arizona is also on a bye week. The Wildcats pummeled Hawaii (40-6) and Weber State (48-3) to start the 2025 season. They are coming off of a 23-17 victory over Kansas State on Sept. 12. The contest against the Wildcats was technically a non-conference game and will not count toward Big 12 standings, since the game was agreed upon and scheduled when Arizona was still a member of the Pac-12.
Arizona’s trip to Ames will mark the Wildcats’ first road game this season and their first contest that will count toward conference standings. For Iowa State, which got a head start on conference play with the Week 0 game against Kansas State, will face only Big 12 foes for the remainder of its schedule.
