The winningest collegiate quarterback of all time is getting his shot in the NFL, and it is taking him south. After commanding the Iowa Hawkeyes and South Dakota State Jackrabbits, Mark Gronowski is getting his chance to shine at the next level.
After the conclusion of the 2026 NFL Draft, a flurry of undrafted free agents began signing, and Gronowski was among those finding out his new home. Mark Gronowski is headed to Florida, as he agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins, where he will head in hopes of making an NFL roster.
Mark Gronowski heads to Miami with a class of draft picks that features Kadyn Proctor, the Alabama offensive lineman, who spurned Iowa twice during his recruitment and the transfer portal process. Gronowski will join a Dolphins quarterback room that has undergone an overhaul this offseason.
He joins a room featuring Malik Willis, Quinn Ewers, and Cam Miller as he attempts to make the roster or stick on the practice squad with his versatility in the running and passing game, traits he commonly displayed at Iowa and South Dakota State.
