Iowa State women’s basketball had a slew of key contributors enter the NCAA transfer portal this offseason, and one of the Cyclones’ top stars just announced her landing spot.
Rising senior forward Addy Brown announced Thursday, April 23 that she is transferring to UCLA. The Bruins are the reigning NCAA Tournament champions after defeating powerhouse South Carolina, 79-51, in the title game.
Despite missing 11 games due to injury during the 2025-26 season, Brown enjoyed a successful three-year career with the Cyclones.
Her best campagin came in 2024-25 as a sophomore, when she received second-team All-Big 12 honors and was one of six NCAA Division I women’s basketball players since 1999-2000 to finish multiple seasons with at least 400 points, 250 rebounds and 150 assists, according to the Iowa State Athletics website.
