Did you know… where this photo was taken? This photo is from June 1947 and shows flooding on the west side of Perry. Today this area would be near Peters Service and the now-closed Tyson plant. People are shown on what is now the road to the boat ramp. It has been a long time since Perry has been home to floods like this.
