Did you know… where this drug store was located?This is the Perry Walgreen Drug Store, located at 1110 2nd Street. There was a drug store at that address from 1902 until 1982. From 1939 until 1962, this was home to McDonald Drug; you can see the ghost sign in this photo. I delivered the Perry Chief in the downtown area, and the McDonald’s soda fountain was a once or twice daily stop for me.
