Labor Day is nearly here. Federal and state offices will be closed and Indiana’s weather is supposed to be gorgeous. Many Hoosiers will enjoy the three-day weekend by traveling to nearby state parks or other attractions.
Those who do get on the road might want to know where Indiana gasoline is expensive, and where it’s cheapest.
The average cost for a gallon of regular gas Aug. 29 is $3.201, according to AAA. Indiana is slightly higher at $3.333, but some counties are nearly at $3.50. If you happen to drive a gas-guzzler, those pennies add up quickly.
