Indiana Gov. Mike Braun will speak from flood-ravaged Cambridge City in the eastern part of the state shortly after 2:15 p.m. Aug. 13, 2026. State and local officials are assessing damage in the area after flooding struck the eastern portion of the state during the past several days.
Braun will be joined by Indiana National Guard Adjutant General Larry Muennich, Indiana State Police Superintendent Anthony Scott and Indiana Department of Homeland Security Executive Director Jonathan Whitham.
Cambridge City, in Wayne County, was among the communities hardest hit by flooding Aug. 12. The live speech follows the governor declaring an emergency for portions of the state.
