Top class of 2026 shooting guard Jenica Lewis has narrowed down her list of schools to five, and Notre Dame has made the cut.
The 5-foot-10 Johnston (Johnston, IA) product, who was a member of the Des Moines Register’s 2025 All-Iowa girls basketball team this past season after helping lead her school to a second-straight Class 5A state championship, is down to the Fighting Irish, Iowa, North Carolina, Oregon and TCU.
Lewis averaged 18 points, 3.5 steals and 3.4 assists per game as she led the Dragons in total points, assists and steals in 2024-25. Earlier in her recruitment, it appeared that the Hawkeyes had the in-state lead, but this has become more of a national recruitment after the departure of Iowa assistant Raina Harmon, who is now the head coach at FGCU.
Lewis would be an absolute coup for Niele Ivey and the Irish if she were to choose to play in South Bend.
