The Indianapolis Colts return home for Week 2 of the preseason, this time taking on the Atlanta Falcons.
The two teams also participated in a joint practice earlier this week as well.
Head coach Shane Steichen has already announced that the Colts starters will not play in this game after two days of joint practices. Instead, it’s Riley Leonard’s turn to get the start, with Anthony Richardson then playing in the second half.
In addition to the backup quarterback competition, other positional battles taking place for the Colts include backup running back, the third wide receiver role, the starting defensive end spot opposite of Laiatu Latu, linebacker, and the strong safety role.
