Alex Palou picks up win No. 7 this IndyCar Series season, edging Chip Ganassi teammate Scott Dixon in the Farm to Finish 275 on the 7/8-mile Iowa Speedway oval.
Marcus Armstrong completes the podium, his first this season. Josef Newgarden, who leads 72 laps, has bad luck with the timing of his pit stops and finishes 10th.
Pato O’Ward, who won Saturday’s race, takes 5th. Newgarden led 232 laps in that race but a late sluggish pit stop left him in 2nd place.
Christian Lundgaard, who started 22nd, finishes 6th.
Rookies have a good day: Robert Shwartzman takes 9th, Jacob Abel 11th and Louis Foster 14th.
Newgarden’s Penske teammates have even worse luck: Will Power loses power and finishes 24th, and Scott McLaughlin gets caught up in Devlin DeFrancesco’s crash and finishes 26th.
