The feeling of the sun on your face while you walk past local vendors and farm stands with a fresh coffee and something to snack on in hand at the farmers market on a Saturday morning is something to look forward to every year.
The Indianapolis area is home to not just one, but several amazing farmers markets that will be opening soon.
Here’s when Indy area farmers markers open up for the 2026 season.
Broad Ripple Farmers Market
The Broad Ripple Farmers Market is actually open year round on Saturday mornings.
From November to April, the market takes place indoors at Broad Ripple Middle School, located at 1115 Broad Ripple Ave. Winter Market hours: 9 a.m. to noon.
From May-October the market takes place outside at Glendale Town Center in the parking lot east of Lowes at 6001 N. Rural Street. Summer Market hours: 8 a.m. to noon (May-September), 9 a.m. to noon (October).
Carmel Farmers Market
Carmel’s Farmers Market returns to Carter Green for 2026 starting the first Saturday, May 2. The market takes place from 8 to 11:30 a.m. every Saturday May through September.
Fishers Farmers Market
The Fishers Farmers Market will kick of Saturday, May 2 and continue every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon through September. The market is located at 6 Municipal Dr.
Garfield Park Farmers Market
The Garfield Park Farmers Market takes place at 2345 Pagoda Drive. It begins on May 2 and continues every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through October.
Greenwood Farmers Market
The Greenwood Farmers Market will open for the 2026 season on April 25 and continue each Saturday through September. The market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon at 525 N Madison Ave.
Noblesville Farmers Market
The Noblesville Farmers Market will return to Federal Hill Commons starting May 2 and happen every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon through Oct. 10.
Pendleton Farmers Market
The Pendleton Farmers Market will begin on May 2 and continue every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon through September. The market takes place at Falls Park Drive.
