The full 2025-26 season schedule for Ball State basketball has been revealed.
Ball State announced its nonconference schedule on Monday, Aug. 18, and the Mid-American Conference unveiled its full men’s basketball slate on Thursday, Aug. 21.
Ball State will open the regular season at home with a MAC-Sun Belt Challenge game against Louisiana. The nonconference slate features road trips to Wisconsin and a pair of in-state rivals in Evansville and Indiana State. The Cardinals will also participate in the Lafayette Classic in Easton, Pa., during the last week of November.
The Cardinals’ MAC opener will be at home against Miami (Ohio), and they will play two games each against Akron, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Northern Illinois, Ohio, and league newcomer UMass. Eastern Michigan, Kent State, and Miami (OH) will be the conference single plays at home, while the single plays on the road are Bowling Green, Toledo, and Western Michigan.
Ball State is coming off a 15-16 season with a 7-11 record in MAC play. The Cardinals finished ninth in the conference and failed to qualify for the MAC Tournament for the second year in a row.
