Former Indianapolis Colts safety signs with Atlanta Falcons

Former Indianapolis Colts’ safety Ronnie Harrison is signing with the Atlanta Falcons, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Harrison spent the better part of the last two seasons with the Colts, which included time on the practice squad.

In 2023, Harrison played 234 defensive snaps, most of which came at linebacker. This past season, he transitioned back to safety, where he had spent most of his career, but played only three snaps on defense.

Harrison was a core special teams contributor for the Colts in 2024, playing 197 snaps across five of the six different phases, according to PFF.

Harrison was a free agent this offseason, and along with letting him walk, the Colts did the same with Julian Blackmon, who has since signed with the New Orleans Saints.

The Colts would sign Cam Bynum in free agency and then drafted Hunter Wohler in the seventh round. Those two join Nick Cross–who will start with Bynum–Rodney Thomas, and others.
