Seven Indianapolis Colts players are inactive for the team’s Week 15 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.
On game days, teams were permitted to have 48 players active.
So with two practice squad elevations, plus the 53 players already on the active roster, seven players had to be made inactive.
Indianapolis Colts’ Week 15 inactive vs. Seahawks
Jaylon Carlies is a healthy scratch. He returned from injured reserve last week, but played only two snaps.
Sauce Gardner and Anthony Gould were both ruled out on Friday due to injuries.
Without Gardner and Charvarius Ward, Mekhi Blackmon and Jaylon Jones are the Colts’ likely starters at outside cornerback.
DJ Giddens, Reuben Lowery, and Will Mallory have all been inactive each week since the Colts’ bye.
With Phillip Rivers starting and Riley Leonard the backup, Brett Rypien is inactive and can serve as the Colts’ emergency quarterback.
