FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Colts plan to start Anthony Richardson against New England in Thursday’s preseason opener, then turn to Riley Leonard in the second half.
Leonard will start and play the entire first half against Atlanta in next week’s preseason home opener, then turn it over to Richardson for the second half.
Daniel Jones will not play in either of the first two preseason games. Indianapolis head coach Shane Steichen does not want to risk any injury to Jones, who is coming off a torn right Achilles tendon.
