As the release date for EA Sports College Football 2027 gets closer, we are finding out much more about how it views Notre Dame’s roster.
On Tuesday EA Sports shared its team rankings, offense and defense, along with overall, and the Irish were one of just a few teams to place inside the top-10 on both sides of the ball. On Wednesday it was about the players, and for quarterback CJ Carr, he is one of the highest rated in the game.
The second-year starter has been rated a 92 overall, behind just Oregon’s Dante Moore and Ohio State’s Julian Sayin. Carr tied with USC’s Jayden Maiava, and is ahead of Texas’ Arch Manning. All of them are rated over a 90, which means they’re some of the top players in the game.
It will be interesting to see how many opt to play with Notre Dame in the newest edition of NCAA College Football, as it very much looks like the team is stacked.
