Hoosiers in Central Indiana can expect sunshine throughout Thursday, March 12, according to a forecast from the National Weather Service. It will be a little colder than it has been lately with a high of 59 degrees.
Looking forward, a wind advisory has been issued by NWS Indianapolis that will go into effect from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 13. NWS predicts strong wind gusts of up to 45 to 50 mph.

We’ll see mostly cloudy conditions throughout the rest of the weekend, before rain and thunderstorms could return on Sunday, March 15.

Thursday, March 12: Sunny, with a high near 49. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Thursday night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 41. South wind 6 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
Friday, March 13 – Indy St. Patrick’s Day Parade : Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 57. Breezy, with a southwest wind 18 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 44 mph.
Friday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
Saturday, March 14: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52. Light and variable wind becoming east around 6 mph in the morning.
Saturday night: Cloudy, with a low around 45. East wind 7 to 9 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
Sunday, March 15: A 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. Breezy, with a south wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph.
Sunday night: Rain before 2 a.m., then rain and snow likely. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 28. West southwest wind around 18 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
