Bloomington area IHSAA girls basketball sectional daily updates, scores

Here are all the Bloomington-area girls basketball sectional scores and stats from Feb. 3-7, 2026.

TUESDAY, Feb. 3

Class 4A, Sectional 13 at Terre Haute North

Bloomington North 46, Terre Haute North 31: Cougars (12-11) led 21-13 at halftime and pulled away in second half to advance to semifinals vs. rival South. Lulu Frank had 15 points, hitting three of her four 3s in the second half. Audrey Burton added 11 points and Ashley Stegemoller 9. Patriots season ends at 7-17.

Class 4A, Sectional 15 at New Albany

Floyd Central 66, Jeffersonville 56: Highlanders (20-3) put back-to-back 20-win seasons together for first time since 20-0-10 and avenge a regular season loss to the Red Devils (14-11). FC advances to play Seymour in the semis.

Class 3A, Sectional 27 at Edgewood

Cascade 38, Speedway 35: Addy Thompson had 18 points and Macey Pugh 15 to power Cadets (13-10) past the Sparkplugs (10-10). Cascade beat them by 18 in November but had to hang on this time after leading 22-12 at the break. Mdelynn Matelic had 14 for Speedway.

Northview 64, Indianapolis Washington 5: Knights (17-6) rolled into semifinals vs. Owen Valley, going up 57-0 by halftime, with 36 coming in the first quarter. Reagan White had 15 points, Carlee Schrader 13 and Kambry Shoults 12 for the Knights, all in the first half. Continentals (4-10) did not score until the fourth quarter.

Class 2A, Sectional 42 at Park Tudor

Park Tudor 73, Indianapolis Riverside 24: Panthers (12-11) advance to face Monrovia in the semis. Riverside finishes 3-14.

Covenant Christian 52, Cardinal Ritter 30: Covenant Christian (11-12) takes on University in the semis, while Cardinal Ritter ends up 6-17.

Class 2A, Sectional 46 at Eastern (Pekin)

Clarksville 48, Mitchell 18: Jackets (6-17) stumble in sectional opener as Generals (7-15) advance to semifinals.

Crawford County 40, Lanesville 25: Wolfpack (16-7) jumped out to a 23-7 lead by halftime and rolled as Lanesville finishes 8-17. Crawford County advances to semis vs. Clarksville.

Class 2A, Sectional 47 at Eastern Greene

West Vigo 46, Eastern Greene 27: Rough shooting first half too much for T-Birds (7-14) to overcome, trailing 20-6. Vikings (6-15) advance to semis vs. Linton.

South Knox 43, Sullivan 32: No. 3 Spartans (18-3) overcome a slow start, leading Arrows (11-12) just 4-2 after the first period. It was 19-10 at half and 33-22 after three. South Knox will face rival North Knox in the semis.

Class 1A, Sectional 58 at Greenwood Christian

Greenwood Christian 37, Indianapolis Lutheran 24: Cougars (13-10) have won six of their last eight and move on to the semis vs. Victory College Prep. Indianapolis Lutheran wins up 7-14.

Eminence 54, Central Christian 21: Eels (17-6) hold their 10th team to under 30 points this season and will face winless Traders Point Christian in the semis. Central finishes 6-13.

Class 1A, Sectional 61 at Clay City

White River Valley 30, Bloomfield 19: Wolverines (11-10) hold Cardinals (7-15) to just seven points in the second half to pull away from a 15-12 lead at halftime. WRV advances to semis vs. winner of Game 2.

Lighthouse Christian 65, Dugger Union 32: Ellie Mae Winders poured in 38 points in just three quarters as the Lions (11-11) made history by winning their first sectional game since beginning IHSAA play in 2021. Winders, who was 14-of-16 at the line, had 17 points in the second quarter alone as LCA led 45-16 at the break. She was just four points short of her career best, which also came against the Bulldogs. Six of the seven Lions scored. The Bulldogs finished 4-18.

Class 1A, Sectional 62 at North Daviess

Orleans 54, Shoals 15: No. 5 Bulldogs (19-3) romp in opener as Jug Rox finish 2-20. Orleans advances to play Barr-Reeve in the semis.

WEDNESDAY, Feb. 4

Class 2A, Sectional 46 at Eastern (Pekin)

Eastern (Pekin) 53, Salem 32: Musketeers (15-7) roll into the semifinals as Salem finishes 8-16.

Providence 56, Paoli 34: Rams finish up 7-17 as Providence (12-8) heads to semifinals.

Class 1A, Sectional 61 at Clay City

Shakamak 37, Cloverdale 24: Lakers (12-9) use strong defensive effort to top Cloverdale (9-13).

Clay City 45, North Central 22: Eels (11-10) get off to slow start, leading just 14-10 at half, but put a 17-3 run on North Central (3-17) in the third to put it away and advance to the semis vs. Shakamak.

Class 1A, Sectional 62 at North Daviess

Loogootee 40, Vincennes Rivet 27: Loogootee (15-6) stuffed Rivets offense in the second half, holding the Patriots (10-13) to just 12 points after taking a 22-15 lead at the break.

North Daviess 65, Washington Catholic 10: The Cougars (18-5) made quick work of it, jumping up 29-4 in the first period and leading by 35 at halftime. The Cardinals finish (2-19).

FRIDAY, Feb. 6

Class 4A. Sectional 13 at Terre Haute North

Terre Haute South 49, Martinsville 44: Arties jumped out to a 20-7 lead before TH South (16-7) rallied and pulled away in final minute to end season for Martinsville (6-16).

Bloomington South 54, Bloomington North 45

Class 4A, Sectional 15 at New Albany

New Albany 48, Bedford North Lawrence 45: The Stars (16-8) fell behind early and managed to tie it at 34 heading into the fourth. But the Bulldogs (5-18), 1-7 in their last eight, pulled it out on their home floor.

Floyd Central 55, Seymour 20: The No. 10 Highlanders (21-3) made quick work of the Owls (6-18) and will look for back-to-back sectional titles.

Class 3A, Sectional 27 at Edgewood

Edgewood 31, Cascade 24: The Mustangs were in a hole and a funk at halftime, down 13-7. But a 17-0 flipped the script, sending Edgewood (17-5) into the title game vs. Northview. Macey Crider and Madi Bland each had 11 points as Cascade (13-11) limited Ally Bland to four but couldn’t score in the fourth quarter after taking a 24-16 lead.

Northview 54, Owen Valley 47: The Patriots (14-7) held narrow leads at the end of each quarter, going up 40-38 after three, but the Knights (18-6) rallied at the free throw line, going 26-of-33 in a foul fest to gain a berth to the finals. Carlee Schrader had 31 points, going 13-of-17 at the stripe while Reagin White had 13 points (11-of-12). Aubrey Sparks had 14 points (8-of-12 at the line), Hannah Bixler 12 and Kendall Freeman 8.

Class 2A, Sectional 42 at Park Tudor

Monrovia 64, Park Tudor 50: Bulldogs (19-5) will try to repeat in the final vs.

University 49, Covenant Christian 38: University (10-11) ends two-year sectional losing skid to Covenant Christian (11-13).

Class 2A, Sectional 47 at Eastern Greene

Linton 53, West Vigo 27: Miners (14-7) advance.

North Knox 72, South Knox 48: Spartans (19-3) roll by rivals.

Class 1A, Sectional 58 at Greenwood Christian

Greenwood Christian 63, Victory College Prep 13: No contest as Cougars (14-10) march onward.

Eminence 57, Traders Point Christian 7: Eels (18-6) rock winless squad to walk to the finals.

Class 1A, Sectional 61 at Clay City

White River Valley 57, Lighthouse Christian 22: Wolverines jumped up 16-2 and never looked back, holding the Lions (11-12) to just seven points in the second half. WRV led 27-15 at the break.

Shakamak 61, Clay City 24: The Lakers (13-9) stormed out to a 21-2 lead to bury the host Eels (12-10).

Class 1A, Sectional 62 at North Daviess

Orleans 43, Barr-Reeve 27: Orleans (20-3) will get another chance to end its 10-year sectional dry spell. after dispatching the Vikings (12-9). They’ve lost four straight sectional games to Loogootee.

Loogootee 35, North Daviess 34: Lions (16-6) win a thriller against Cougars (18-6).

SATURDAY, Feb. 7

Sectional championships

Class 4A, Sectional 13 at Terre Haute North

Bloomington South 62, Terre Haute South 49: Panthers (19-5) will play Floyd Central at regional

Class 3A, Sectional 27 at Edgewood

Northview 42, Edgewood 35: The Mustangs (17-6) got off to a strong start in the bid to end a 10-year sectional dry spell. They led 28-22 going to the fourth when the Knights (19-6) found another gear, taking a 35-34 lead with 55 seconds left and hanging on. It was a tide turning 17-1 run.

Class 2A, Sectional 42 at Park Tudor

Monrovia 82, University 33: The Bulldogs (20-5) needed a shot from beyond halfcourt at the buzzer to go up 25-20 at half and then let it rip in the second half. A 34-6 run in the third period put the game to bed and back-to-back sectional titles for Monrovia. University finished 10-12. Monrovia plays Park Heritage (18-7) at regional.

Class 1A, Sectional 58 at Greenwood Christian

Greenwood Christian 49, Eminence 25: Eels finish 18-7, while GCA advances with a mark of 15-10.

Class 1A, Sectional 62 at North Daviess

Orleans 47, Loogootee 34: No. 5 Bulldogs (21-3) move on to regional Borden (21-5). Loogootee finishes 16-7.
