Paving and reconstruction of Bendix Drive between Cleveland Road and Portage Road begins Monday, May 19, and will close sections of the road while work is being done.
City officials said while a portion of this road will be fully reconstructed and paved because of deteriorated road base, some of the segment may only get paved.
Sections of Bendix Drive will be closed when under construction, but access to businesses will be maintained during the project, city officials said.
Motorists are being asked to use Portage Avenue and Cleveland Road as ways around the stretch of road in the construction area.
The city said the work is expected to be done by Tuesday, June 3, weather permitting.
