Ball State women’s basketball’s 2026-27 schedule has been revealed.
Ball State is entering its 15th season under head coach Brady Sallee and coming off back-to-back Mid-American Conference regular season titles. The Cardinals will tune up with a pair of scrimmages against in-state opponents — Indiana State at home and Butler on the road — before opening the season at home with a MAC-Sun Belt Challenge game against Arkansas State.
The nonconference slate is one of the most challenging in mid-major women’s basketball, featuring four opponents who qualified for the 2026 NCAA Tournament and a trip to Hawaii for the Maui Classic in December. The MAC schedule features 18 games against conference opponents, including two games each against Miami (Ohio), who swept the Cardinals last year and split the regular season title with them, and Toledo, who eliminated the Cardinals from the MAC Tournament with an upset in the semifinals.
