Think it’s too early to start getting in the spooky mood? Think again.
Spirit Halloween stores officially opened their doors today in more than two dozen locations across Illinois, with more to come through the end of August.
A few are still labeled “Coming Soon” on the chain’s website, indicating that no opening date has yet been set.
The Illinois stores are among the more than 1,500 seasonal Spirit Halloween locations selling costumes, decorations and accessories. Customers can place orders in-person or order online and pick up at a store.
