PEORIA – An Indian eatery in Peoria is temporarily closed for renovations, according to a sign posted at the storefront.
Cardboard covered the windows peering into Rice & Spice at the Campustown Shopping Center on Thursday, Aug. 13. On the door, a handwritten note thanked customers for their understanding.
There was no indication as to when the storefront – situated near Bradley University – would reopen.
Rice & Spice opened roughly two and a half years back in the unit once home to Dac’s Smokehouse. Its menu features biryani, curry, idli and other Indian cuisine.
